I use the strobe (check out the sweetened guitar setting, if you’re not familiar) and it works great with the fine tuners on the Floyd. Can be a little bit fussy with regular tuners because it’s so precise, in my experience, but a great tuner.
I shimmed mine too to get the action down. I was patient and looked for two years to find a great deal (it was the last guitar I wanted to add to the stable). Shim and setup and it was all good. Couldn’t be happier. Enjoy! Love the gold Axis.
