Unfortunately, I think I am going to have to return this bass. I originally went in looking for a Classic Sterling 4 string, and am pretty sure that's what I need to end up with. I don't really jive with the five string, as much as I love the feel and sound of this bass.

As a lifelong 4 string player, I went through two 5 stringers (a Bongo HS and a SR5 HH) before I found my current SR5 that felt right to me. There's no harm in trying...

Depends on what you mean with question. A Classic Stingray 5, yes. A classic Stingray 5 in that color, no, unless you get lucky on the used market.
