So how do you guys like your Guilded White SR's? I'm especially interested in the 5er.

I like it, it's really sexy.. But it doesn't feel as good in my hands and around my neck as the big al. Nothing hangs on my body like a big al... Maybe my wife... But it's a pretty close csll

I'm not sure, but I don't see why it wouldn't. I have taken the batteries out of my ALS to feed other things and they still work in passive mode.

I tried the same thing with my reflex, ...works without batteries in passive switching!
