The Bongo definately looks unique, and from the different wood & pre-amp (I'm assuming here), it should also have a unique sound.

The only reason I wouldn't get a Sterling is the neck. Specifically the slimmer width.
I like the feel of the SR neck. It's the most comfortable & natural feeling neck that I've played. I also like the way the SR sits at a 45 degree angle when you let go.
Also: what would you say the differences are between a SR4HH & SR4HS?

From what I see here on the forum & from the videos of BP, his feelings on the basses, the customer support & the fact that I have Never heard anyone say negative things about the company or its products.
Also the fact that they're still made here in the USA.
