ooohhh :-O, that 77 SR really looks beautiful ! It must be the first time I see an inca silver finish.

To change from this nice SR, I would advise a Bongo HH or HS ; you wont believe how versatile it is and how huge it sounds.

Welcome here !

How about an HS Sterling? or 3-band Stingray HS if you don't want a Sterling.

Jack:
Thanks for the invite.
I have to try the 30th.
The Bongo definately looks unique, and from the different wood & pre-amp (I'm assuming here), it should also have a unique sound.

Mike:
Thanks for the compliment.
Did EBMM every do the Inca Silver color?
Or was it something similar?
Also, any comments on the difference in sound: Bongo HH & HS?

saxnbass:
The only reason I wouldn't get a Sterling is the neck. Specifically the slimmer width.
I like the feel of the SR neck. It's the most comfortable & natural feeling neck that I've played. I also like the way the SR sits at a 45 degree angle when you let go.
Also: what would you say the differences are between a SR4HH & SR4HS?

ekb16b:
I know, whatever I find, it'll be good.
From what I see here on the forum & from the videos of BP, his feelings on the basses, the customer support & the fact that I have Never heard anyone say negative things about the company or its products.
Also the fact that they're still made here in the USA.
