Oh, how cute, he's "tapping" already!!

:)

Two-handed nonetheless! I see another promising young talent for Satch to tutor ;).

Rob - nice Carvin! A very under rated amp company - just wish you could play one in a store over here......

SO happy for little Tom and you Belinda! It's funny, my wife could care less about my guitar hobby, but she has me check in here every night to see if there are any updates on little Tom! :D He looks great, BTW - very good! Congrats.

I dont know if its dumb or not, but every day i spend 15 minutes showing a guitar to Tom, just holding the fretboard in front of him, like in the pics, and seeing what he does, over time he has really gotten used to it, as soon as i put it in front of him he grabs it with both hands, and kinda flings his hands at the strings and laughs at the noise, he gets bored after a while and goes back to his toys, but I'm happy with that, he's only 7 months old!

Definately not dumb! Expose them to music as young as possible....

late to the party as always ....

Rob, I gotta say all those pics are very cool.

And, am interested to hear how things work out with the Carvin - is it just for home use or will you be usin' it for smaller gigs too?

cheers always, eh

He is very cute :):):):):):):)
from the way he touches the fret board, i think he can be the next frank gambale/brett garsed in his generation later.. ;););)

Rob, i am really interested when i saw that amp(vintage 16 carvin) ,that's really cool.. i also really like fender style amp, can you give more detail story about how it sound with single coil / mm90 pick ups? and how do you think it will sound with single coil emgs on luke?

thanks,
Abraham

Thanks Rob! Great to see pics of Tom----so happy he is doing well!! Run the amp through its paces and give us detailed info. I never pulled the trigger on a Carvin amp because I don't really know too much about them other than they are generally less expensive (mostly due to no middleman). Are the parts low-budget stuff or are they decent quality? Do they have a history of longevity? those 2 questions plus the return/warranty policy and the resale value always put me on guard for some reason.
