I had a look at the new Axis at the music store on the weekend, and actually bought a Trans Blue Axis. Lovely guitar, but I did notice the tremolo bridge is different than normal. The tremolo bar just sort of snaps in the bridge plate like an Ibanez, unlike the older version! Anyone know why MM went to this style?
Thanks
Kev

I believe EBMM changed to the new Floyd trem when their stock of Gotoh branded Floyds ran out.
