New Bands...

Saw Los lonely Boys last year in Toronto opening for Robert Randolph.... amazing band to see live! You have to go see them live Jon, nuts! Also, Thornley is a cool outfit (used to be the lead singer from Big Wreck).
On the harder side of things: Blindside!!!!! amazing
on the softer side/chillin' on a friday-get the missus in the mood type of stuff: Gretchen Lieberum www.gretchenmusic.com , definitely worth the checking out.

New(ish) Band in Uk

Karma Destination will be appearing at The Life Cafe on Sunday 19th September 2004 as part of the 2004 In The City Festival.

In conjunction with the event KD will be releasing their latest EP 'Produced Out Of Cycle'.

For further info on other bands playing on the night visit www.karmadestination.co.uk

Qwiksand

QWIKSAND - Their latest album, The Fellowship of the Groove is pretty cool. The funk-laced licks and reggae-esque riffs by their guitar player R~A~S remind me of a melodic Frusciante. definitely worth checking out live if you haven't already.
