Congrats! I've got a Black Sapphire Bongo, too--but mine has the added piezos. They are indeed classy machines. Yours looks great with the moonstone pickguard. Although, I think the Desert Gold, or Radiance Red might match your hair better.

My hair changes far too much, and I usually wear a mask anyway. I almost got a desert gold. My next Bongo will be a bright one. That's for sure.

I would prefer MM or the Musicman logo, since for whatever reason, the bongo has no mention of Ernie Ball on the front of the bass. On the back of the headstock it says ernie ball in tiny, tiny letters. But no one at a show is going to see that!

I agree. I do know that Fender strap is comfy though so in the mean time until I find one with EB or the logo on it I will continue to use it. Good looking Bongo btw.

That would indeed make a unique bongo!! Just not sure where to get the clear pick guard from but I am sure someone else here will know.
