OK, even though I'm not really a 5 string player, I went and purchased a new Bongo 5HH. It's the beautiful Tangerine Pearl color. :D

I really wanted a single H but nobody has them in stock and I just didn't feel like waiting on an order. :)

I also wish the pickup covers were available in white and then I would put a white pearl pickguard on it and make it look like a creamsicle. But, since they are not, it'll get changed to that orange swirl (Tiramisu). It should look killer.

I love the tone Alex Al is getting on this Bongo
(starts at 1:17). I'm assuming he's playing through a Markbass amp. Does anyone know if he's plugged in direct to the amp or if there are any stomp boxes (compression) being used?

LOL

Actually, I've been emailing them for the past month or two about ordering one as I wanted the H model. I just didn't want to do the wait so I opted for the HH and I'll give a 5 string a shot.

You're welcome to stop by here after it gets delivered if you want. :D

ThePerfectBass definitely needs to replenish their inventory.

It's landed!!! Absolutely beautiful color!! I definitely need to get used to a 5 stringer as it's throwing me off a bit. I also need to learn to drive this thing.

I found my Bongo 5 surprisingly easy to transition to.. & this is a guy that loves smaller necks
