Hi, Jack Secret here. Owner of a lot of Ibanez guitars, couple of Caparison and Hamers and now jumping in the EBMM pool. I tried out another players JPX6 at the local GC when he was testing out a new amp and have to say, fell in love with the craftsmanship and playability. Was a bit peeved when he asked for it back! :) So, I bought my own JPX6 and decided to move back into 7 stringers and get a JPX7. Works out well because I'm in a hardcore ebony fingerboard state of mind right now. Have no reason to believe the 7 won't be as great as the 6.

Welcome to the forum Jack. I've seen your collection of other guitars (on Jemsite and SS.org), and I must say it is great. Nothing better to add to it than a pair of JPX's!

Congrats Jack on a winning pair, it seems like you have some really nice fast axes already from what is written on the board. I think that after you receive your JPs your next hand will be a Ball full house.

Well, that's what the Caparison forum said as well and I stopped at 3. :) I love my Ibanezes too much to ever get rid of ALL of them. I know littlephil from jemsite and he knows the junky collection of axes I have. LOL

Well, the JPX6 is here and......well, I didn't expect it to need a serious setup out of the box like it did. I remember watching the factory tour on Youtube and Sterling Ball mentioned "Our customer is not the setup dept.". Well, apparently I just got hired because it needed one pretty bad. She's all good now and the JPX7 (along with an '89 Hamer Californian) show up tomorrow. I'm just hoping the 7 doesn't need a massive setup like the 6 did. Wow, did that show up with some super high action.
