The first 3 knobs work just like any 2 band or classic, Volume, Treble, Bass. The last knob doesn't do anything in active mode. When you pull the last knob up the bass goes to passive, that knob turns into a tone knob and the EQ knobs don't function.

You all aren't by chance making an HH version, would you? Maybe just one? I gotta at least ask. :)

Very very pretty, you all always do such a nice job. Major kudos.

Yes I've brought myself a Gilded SR4 and I'm busy squirrelling away gig money so the Wife doesn't shoot me when in lands here in the land of the Kangaroo :).

It will be the ying to the yang of my Roasted SR4.

I think it would also make a great Ying to the Yang of anyone who has a Stealth SR4 or SR5.

I am really contemplating hard on getting a Black SR4 Classic with the Birdseye Maple fretboard to go with my other Classic but This bass would also compliment my one Classic very nicely too.

If the passive/2EQ became a standard option I would order it 'in a New York Minute', and im being serious! :)

I think the whole 'passive' option on the new EBMMs is bringing even more people over to these instruments, because the Big Al passive option is just stellar. Its almost like having about 5000 basses in one with the Big Al.

Even with a 2EQ Ray, a passive option is an ace idea. Imagine it on a HS...passive on the S :)

If I haddn't just spent 700 quid on a custom shop ray with in line tuners and a funky head stock logo ;-)

I would love one but not right now

I love your Shell Pink SR4 with the Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbon Scratch Plate.

Thank you! That was built for me last year after my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. That bass is very special to us and is used to bring awareness and help raise funds at benefit shows. I think this new Classic would compliment it wonderfully too.
