After staring at that thing all day and reading this thread with JP posting I am left with one conclusion:

BP - you guys rule!

Simple as that.

First of all, hello (I didn't found any kind of introduction topic so...). Actually, I will change my main buying choice to the Silo instead of the MM JP. If is JP changes, how can we say no? Buton other hand this guitar get a little ugly. Like a beaultiful woman with one platic surgery(lower horn) and lots of makeup(neck binding and wood mounted rings). and it looks like an Ibanez RG Prototype with this lower horn. Actually I will pray to JP keep his actual JP model. But from now on, I will not buy that thing, XD.

Well, that's a heck of an introduction! :D

My mother always told me, "If you don't have anything nice to say....", you know the rest.

Sure. But even with the fact, that the advantages of previews and stuff, is not good to always post only good opnions. And the world is not composed of only nice things to be said. and it still looks like a RG, no matter what other people try to say to me, this was my first impression. I hope this is not the definitive one.

This is not because it's the MM/EB forum that it have to be a kind of "worship" protos and stuff. And I still don't like this prototype, XD.

Thanks. Anyway there's other thing that my mom always say: "People that say what they want, end listening what they don't wanted."(Sorry about the broken english, Xd)

silhouette is an awesome choice, go for it! not everyone has to like the JP, i certainly dont. but hey, 1 model out of how many? The rest are fabulous for me.

Wow. I ain't been around in AGES...but this is cool. I have hugongus hands and the horn change would really help in that area. Sign me up when they're in production. Peter you know what to do....

BP....sick. Always forging ahead. That's very cool. I also loved the Dullards and Mutants bit but I was still reading so I neglected to quote the post....that's just awesome. I'm going to use that one in good health....consider it stolen.

Thank you JP, for giving your insight to your new guitar... it must really be a monster if you're already tracking with it. Welcome to the forum. :)

Thanks also to you BP and your staff for letting us all in on the new products and developments. I love how you guys aren't content to rest on your laurels and keep pushing to better your products.

Thank you very much for the informative post, John.

Utimately, your input is the only thing that matters concerning the outcome of this guitar. So for myself, I find your comments the most fascinating and am eager to hear more. :)

In celebration of JP's post here and the awesome progress of the next generation of JP EBMM's, how about some "Me with JP" pics? :D

I will kick it off:

Muggin' it up with JP and MP in Dallas on the Gigantour:

And a normal smilie-type pic taken right before:

I will go next:

I got a bit excited...

Let me take a wild guess...You are from another country and English is not your primary language.

If thats the case then I understand your post and you really need to understand the reactions.

The cheapest shot is that we as a forum dont accept criticsm...Read through this there are people over the top on this proto and people who dont like it. The difference is how strongly you state your opinion someone with a 180 degree opinion will answer accordingly.

The proto is to keep you guys in the loop and to have a good time. Read this post I have said if people still want to buy the original then we will sell it. We are not taking away from the guitarists menu of choices we are adding and that is ALWAYS a good thing......So if you dont like something thats fine with me....

I'm going to let this one go....but it is hard and I don't want to go OT....but I will....

That axe is AWESOME and if JP is happy, that is all that matters at this time. Believe, once it is in production, it will sell. If you don't like it...don't buy it. Buy one of the other guitars/basses with it's gazillion options.

Big Poppa and all at EBMM....again, GREAT JOB!

OMG!!!!!! That's freaking incredible JP and BP. Awesome. Always raising the bar. FWIW I like this BETTER than the current incarnation from a looks standpoint. But bottom line, if EBMM puts it out, it WILL perform.

ROckin!!!
