Not a direct replacement.
Afais some woodwork is needed. Two anchor point have to be drilled and I think the old bushings must be removed.

I recently discovered that the G&L lightweight tuner post, which is aluminum, will fit the Classic Series tuner and not the tuners from the standard SR4 and SR5 necks. It reduced my head stock weight by 3oz.

The Hipshot HB1 tuners are a direct replacement and about 15% lighter than the originals.
