Was at GC last weekend waiting for my wife to finish up some business (she plays a little, collects a lot...she buys way more guitars than I do...
), so I decided to spend a few minutes with a new Luke III I spotted.
Big mistake!! I only played it about 10 minutes, but I couldn't stop thinking about it all week....
To shorten the story, we went back Sat and brought it home.
As you can see, the neck is just amazing! About the swirliest, burliest wood I've ever seen.
The neck carve is interesting too...almost feels like a rounded off "V" shape. It's a bit different, but very nice.
I like the way the color changes with the light and that it's very subtle. And the pick ups are just outstanding!!
Super comfortable guitar all around. I sure didn't -need- another guitar right now, but I couldn't pass this one up...
