Definitive proof that the neck is painted, and is the same color as the body.

AH! That looks like his Dargie BFR...

Does the Dargie change color the way this one does in the videos we have seen? I have never seen a Dargie in person so I have no clue.

You can see here it has the JP shields and not the Martini inlays. Did his Dargie have the Martinis?

Maybe we're not seeing the color change. Lighting on stage perhaps? It sure does look like it's a color change finish, though.

I don't know about the inlays. Anyone know? BP?

The Dargies really shift color under stage lights. I had a guy come up to me at one gig and ask me "why does it look green right here and sometimes orange, sometimes green back there?" I guess that's an added bonus!

I swear JP's Dargie BFR had martini inlays...

but if it doesn't.... I called it first:

Couldn't possibly be his Dargie BFR that he played on "Enemies" for shows in 2008? Maybe it's just showing strange color reflections from lights?

AHA!

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8Mr9ZQdGAM"]YouTube - John Petrucci-Lesson on the "HYPER-SPEED LEVEL"[/ame]

That's his Dargie, it has martini inlays. So this guitar is new then.

I've seen pictures (blurry, but still) of JP and the guitar turns to sort of an orange/copper color. New finish maybe?

You can kinda see it in that first pic, especially on the headstock.

Is it a new version of the F-1 petrucci?
the dargie delight version is really nice ...
Maybe there will be a "standard version" of the F-1 with standard colors....

They don't call it the F-1 anymore, just BFR.

I reckon this finish may be one of the upcoming things BP mentioned we'd "flip" over. :p

Is there a link to the thread where he said that? Is it possible that this finish might be offered? If it is, I'm gonna ****. Haha. If thats available on a BFR I'll be putting my order in ASAP.

Can't find the post anymore... his text was probably nothing like that - just remember that he said we'd love some of the new stuff they were about to let us know about. Some thing along those lines.
