Can't find the post anymore... his text was probably nothing like that - just remember that he said we'd love some of the new stuff they were about to let us know about. Some thing along those lines.

If it's a similar to Dargie color I'm selling plasma until I can afford it.

This video shows it a little clearer. It was DT's show in Leeds. It looks like it's red on the edges and orange in the middle. Pretty cool looking if you ask me. Check it out and let me know what you think.

That's a different guitar, and it's gorgeous!

So he has at least 2 new solid color BFR's... I wonder if they will replace the standard model with the BFR shape, but with standard finishes?

Been watching the webcast from Download Festival. It looks like an EBONY fretboard on that guitar...though it may just be really dark rosewood...

If it is a flip paint, it is REALLY subtle. Nothing near the drastic changes of Mystic Dream.

Okay, mesavox posted a pic over on JP's forum. It does have a big change between that green and an orangey-copper for sure.

I love speculation on the internet! That vid from Leeds looks like it's the same color as Joe B's double-neck. I wonder which of JP's guitars has the rosewood neck...

Edit: that green is Dargie/martini olive green.

The Cherry Burst is nice. And the Dargie/martini green looks darker. I would presume because of some other shade taking part in the finish...

Can we have confirmation from the powers that be on this guitar?

All this speculation is making me feel ill!!!

;)

It's a fab looking guitar and JP and the guys melted about 80,000 faces clean off this afternoon!

:)

Both of the possibly "new colors" look amazing. I'd get them both if I could.
I think that they are both just new color options for the BFRs

Which means EBMM made another one for JP because he already has a Dargie BFR (with martini inlays), which I assume was the only one actually produced... He must love the color.

Speaking of that, JP sure as hell goes through a lot of guitars... more than any other player I've ever followed.

And if the Dargie color is going to be released... count me in.

I was thinking the same thing. I can't think of another guitar player that doesn't have a main axe that they bring with them on every tour, or record every album with. I guess it speaks to the quality and consistency of EBMM instruments that he always seems to have a new go to guitar every other year.

They use so many different tunings (E, Eb, D, Drop D, C, Bb bari, A bari, 7 string) that he can't have just one main guitar, though for a while he was using a couple of BlackBurst BFRs as his "main" axes.
