6 Months ago i bought a Ernie Ball John Petrucci brand new. The store had it for some year in the back store. 2 months agor i'v have begun experiencing some cracking problems from the neck. thinking they was something wrong with it, i'v returned it to the store so they send it back to EB. They kept the guitar for 3 days trying it and set it and i think they found the problem.
But now i have another prob, looks like my nut is too low at the low E string cause it toutches the clear finish of the rosewood between the nut and the tuner. Now every time i toutch the tremolo a bit, the guitar gets out of tune.
And worse, now the finish is grinded because of the low E string.
It a superb guitar that play like heaven but i can't live with that issue. So i want to know if it's possible to buy a complete new neck with a good nut on it or should i simply sell the guitar?
