My standard Morse is getting a make over it is having a new pick guard made to fit just a tele bridge pickup and a neck pickup. looks like it will be getting a dimarzio twang king in the neck and chopper T in the bridge.
I am going with the pickups from the Richie Kotzen Tele .

Hopefully it will all work and and sound good , unless anyone else here has suggestions on pickups. I'm looking for versatility to use in county/rock band. I know some would say the morse pickups would do the trick but those arent for me. I have axis pickups in my floyd Morse and rebels yells in another and I think air classics are gonna go in my Pdn Morse. I love the way they play just not the pickups.

I will post pics when I get it back from the shop.

Cool! So only two pickup total? Will the chopper T be just mounted in the Pickguard or will you use a mounting plate of some kind?

Very cool- let us know how you make out.

On the tele pickup- a huge part of the characteristic tele sound is the bridge. Still, I'd love to hear a Morse with a good single coil in the bridge.

I almost did the tele single in the bridge (mounted in a Glendale mounting ring) but I decided I really wanted a tele, so that pickup found a home elsewhere. Wish I had at least gone far enough with it to get sound samples.

I'm intrigued to see and hear the OP's Morse.
