I don't know. I've watched a few interviews with him and seems be pretty smug and not as approachable as JP. It's just the impression I get. Obviously, I don't know either of them.

I've run into Mr. Morse at NAMM. I mentioned how I wanted to own one of his models someday and how unique the pickup config was and it was like I opened a can of worms. We talked to the point that his wife had to remind him 3 times that he needed to get ready for the 50th anni show. (This was around NAMM show closing time)

Down to earth? Hell yeah. In my experience he was, as were Luke, Lee and Petrucci.

Hey AJ, just wish to hear the word from you of whether there'll be the slightest chance to have a Y2D in neptune blue with maple neck & fretboard.

No matter the answer is yes or no, at least I can head for my sleep without a doubtful mind (yea it's night time in Hong Kong now). Sorry to keep asking about that... That just happened to be the no. 1 dream combination on my mind...

As of right now its a no, just rosewood boards on the Morse and Y2D. If that changes I'll let you all know ASAP.

Just WAIT until Sweetwater gets their PDN's in from this run....talk about guitar pr0n!!!! :) Their guitar gallery will highlight that color in all it's glory!!

Now, if I could get a Reflex in that blue with a maple board and trem....it'd be GAME OVER!!! Sadly, there's that slight issue of $$$$ :)

I'm pretty sure the Reflex is available... It's the gamechanger that isn't. So your in Ed?

Also why is it always the JP people complaining about the limited options that aren't available? This is a killer package and I'm sure that with the guitars that are included you should be able to find something that suits your fancy...

I would totally be pulling the trigger on a BFR AL if there wasn't already a Silo Spec on its way.

You're right it's a killer package...and it isn't offered on the models we find comfortable. The neck shapes--arguably the most important spec of a guitar-- are totally different. And the body shape fits differently too.

God forbid the JPXI,12,13 and Morse players should want the series THEY play before dropping 3 grand.

Let's keep the drama to a minimum. Signature guitars don't always qualify for the limited edition packages, that's just how it goes.

No drama on this end. The guy asked a question and I answered it. I've been over it :)

I'm really kicking around a Luke BFR w/quilt top in this run, all maple neck, of course! But, I'd need to do a pickup swap straight away and I'd doubt I could source the boost preamp. Still, a luke shape with figured top and all maple neck would be out of control.

Well... I just placed my order for an Albert Lee with MM90s... Thanks to Benji @ glorydaysrockshop.com for all the help through the ordering process!

Now I'm counting the pennies in my change jar to see if I can swing a maple neck Luke III... decisions, decisions...

No drama here... Just pointing out that you can't please everyone.

I thought the 2012 PDN was as good as it can get but this package has got me scrambling to raise cash. Another excellent run!
