Nice one mate. I just recieved my Vintage Sunburst Silhouette a month ago. I got the H-S-H with tremolo and rosewood and matching head stock. I am REALLY surprised at how the color is different. Mine is more of a brownish color that REALLY blends in together unlike your 3 tones jumpin out at ya. I gotta take pictures for you people at some point so you can see the BEAUTY. Anyway, nice score there ex3.8.

I just found a post on pg 2 with Serial Number G15968 having DOB 7/25/01

I'm gonna guess the DOB of your instrument is close

Maybe but i was told that the numbers are not sequencial and are more of a "batch" of numbers...
