The guy was being steered torwards SWR gear and I wanted him to know what he MIGHT be in for if he purchased Fender-era SWR gear and had problems. Every company is going to have defectrive products, it's how they deal with the problems that makes them a good, bad or great company. I'm sure I don't have to tell anyone here how FRUSTRATING it was to order my gear, wait for it to get to me and then find out that it was faulty. Imagine that happening to you 3 times by the same company within a MONTH. Did I "bad mouth" SWR unjustly? I don't think so.
