I actually got the call from Jason at Steve's Music in Montréal on Wednesday (like 10 minutes before the end of my shift... I was lucky not to be in the train home yet...)

This guitar is amazing. The roasted maple neck is probable the most comfortable thing that I played... I had a Carvin HH2 with a tung oil finished koa neck that was great but this is something else... I absolutely love the flaming pattern of the neck (kind of lucky here since I prefer that to bird eyes!)

And now for the pleasure of your eyes

By the way, my playing really does not deserve such a quality instrument but I figured that I am going to enjoy the hell out of it anyway!!

Rock on!! \m/ \m/ \m/

Thanks guys! She is indeed awesome! My girlfriend was out of town with the kids for a couple of days... I think I played like 12-15 hours total during that stretch!! But back to reality now... ;)

I love the sound of it through my Mesa Boogie Mark V 25!

Congrats! Welcome to the blue ball family.

I, too, run through a MkV:25 (and a MkV) and love it. Lethal combination!

Thank you guys! I haven't stop playing this wonderful guitar... Like 7-8 hours a day all weekend long!!

FuzzFace I absolutely love the Mark V 25. Since I don't gig these days it's more power than I need but I still get a great range of sounds. The Boogie/JP combination on Mark IIC+ or Mark IV modes is obvious but I am verh surprise with the clean aspect of this amp.... An archtop on the Fat mode and you are in jazz heaven!

Trust me you won't regret this amp!

I play it through a 4x10 Marshall clone cab with 4 Celestion G10S-50 that my dad lent me while I decide what to get (which I am still not sure...)

A 1x12 Rectifier would sound amazing for the heavy stuff but I play a lot of jazz and the Thiele 1x12 with the C90 might be a bit more versatile...

I love the sound of the 4x10 but would like something more portable...

Thanks for the reply Muad'dib. Now i am more excited. According to Fedex, it is scheduled to come a day early (today). Sad news is it requires a signature to be dropped off and I'm at work all day.

BTW, I have the 2x12 rectified cab w/ the C30s and my Mesa heartbreaker has 2x12 C90s. Based on youtube vids, you can hear the highs and clear voicings the c90s give vs the mids/bottom on the c30s. I'll try and do a comparison when I have time. Cheers bro

Do you still have it? I saw the same model at Steve's yesterday and looked identical as yours (same flames on the neck and all). They never mentioned it was used though (that would be really shady from them).

You scared me! I had to go check in my music room if it was still there! Jason from Steve's Montreal told me that they were supposed to get 2 BB JP15 and the other one was for a customer in Toronto. However that customer was not sure if he would keep it and there was someone from Mtl on the waiting list.... It might be this one.

Yes. It is the most amazing piece of gear that I've ever own. Ever.

I play her every day, at least for half an hour bur most of the time for 3-4 hours.

Without any hand/back/shoulders/neck/arm fatigue.

I switched guitars a lot to find something confortable for my bad back and versatile enough to cover what I play (which is pretty much anything from metal to country).

I might have found the One.

For now 😉

You are tempting me! :) I almost pulled the trigger last week but they were not really negotiable on the price (I know the loony is weak these days).

Tried it on a Rockerverb 50 Combo and was pleased to hear tones you usually don't hear in demos on Youtube (most of the time they just cover Petrucci's tone). This guitar is capable of so much more!!!
