2019 Cutlass hss in charcoal sparkle.
This arrived a couple of weeks ago, so I've had a bit of time to get to know it and tweak the setup.
It's my first Ebmm with a roasted neck, stainless frets, and the active buffer. Such a killer guitar!
I will admit, as an avid fuzz user, I wasn't crazy about the idea of a buffer, but fortunately I have a couple fuzz face clones that work.
Beyond that, this has got some of the most hi-fi and "strattiest" single coil tones I've ever heard. I've always stuck to older EBMM models, but I'm glad I took a chance on this one. The only planned change is adding a black pickguard.
I need to find an older AL with a maple board and trem, and then that'll probably be it for 2023 guitar purchases.
