Hello friends,
My first post here, so first of all thanks for the welcome! I waited for some time to find an Luke model that I really wanted, and by watching the forum, I really fell in love with the visuals of the BFR Blueberry. Unfortunately, there are very few of those out there. So for a few years, I've waited, saved and watched. I'd recently missed out on an amazing BFR at my local GC because the timing was all wrong. So I let it go and began to look at other colors and stayed patient. I played a sunburst one on Monday and almost bought it.
Decided to wait. 3 hours later, my manager friend at GC texted me to tell me "It's back" and there was the Luke I'd seen. He sent me a picture of the guitar below. It was marked at a price that I could not refuse. I went. I played it to make sure I wasn't just chasing a look. I was not. This is a bucket list instrument that made it to my band rehearsal last night and was everything I could want. Versatile, Comfortable, Balanced, Impeccably Built and Beautiful.....and it seems signed by Luke himself!
Apart from a Ric 12 String, a set of Breedlove USA 12 and 6 strings, my Top 5 is almost full. This guitar ties with my 92 Clapton Page-era Strat as one of the most versatile guitars ever made IMO.
So I share to say thanks for all the info I got here. Glad to be in good company.
Peace - K
