Guys, this guitar kept appearing in GC ads on my Facebook feed. I finally called and struck a deal.

it’s a totally fantastic guitar and perhaps due to the Rosewood neck and mahogany body it sounds different than my last MM-90.
it’s sort of 50% strat, 50% LP junior.

Nice guitar! It looks very similar to the BFR "Ghost in the Shell", which I recently purchased from Reverb for a great price (considering it looks brand new). It should arrive tomorrow.

One thing I was curious about, do the 3 X MM90 models include the silent circuit?

The guitar arrived, and I'm impressed how comfortable it is! I always thought the body shape looked a bit odd, and it took some time to grow on me, but when actually playing the guitar, the design is very ergonomic.

Same thing happened to me... I wouldn't even touch one for years... put off by the shape. Then one fateful day, I touched one.... took it home with me...
10-12 years later, I'd accumulated a collection of rescues....

Wow, that's quite the collection! And you have the best one in the middle ;)

You have me curious; are there any other models you have a similar collection of?

Love that SS with the MM90s. I've been wanting either one of those or an AL with MM90s. Did they make an AL with only 2 MM90s? I really want the EBMM pickups but experience has told me I can't cope with 3 pickup guitars well. :(

They never made them production wise, but they did make an AL with 2 MM90's for the man himself, Albert Lee. There is a thread around somewhere.

No, but Sterling By Music Man, has am AL with 2 MM90's!!

Good info to have, thanks! Maybe I'll buy a three pickup and a replacement pickguard and take one out.
