NGD- NOS BFR Morse

So the Morse bug bit me when there was some discussion recently, I was going to get a standard Morse but kept gravitating back to this one and when it came down in price I grabbed it, suits me better in many ways, this is brand new #60 of 69, needed the fretboard to get some EB fret board conditioner but other wise mint.

Always liked these when they first came out, a Tahitian Blue BFR Morse with reverse headstock Definitely full guitar room now so back to one must go if I decide to get anything else.

I thought they were covered Axis pups but may be wrong, I have a hard time distinguishing

I thought these were MM pickups, not Dimarzio. The pickup tab routes are rectangular, not triangular. I haven't played one though.

NGD - Morse BFR Tahitian Blue & Questions

I just bought #63/69, brand new. I guess it's been hanging on the wall for five years. The neck is fantastic, and it sounds lovely...and I haven't even put on new strings yet. Does anyone know what pickups these are? Also, what strings did the factory put on this -- 9s? 10s? Hybrid?

Ok- just got the official word. They're Dimarzios. They had been planning to use custom pickups, but it didn't work out in time.

From the one I owned, they did NOT sound like the Axis pickups to me. I always thought they were DiMarzio Morse bridge/neck.
