Just bought a used AL HH rosewood that is of course stellar. It has a push pull tone knob which is pretty usable. Being used could someone have done this mod, or is this an option offered with this model?

I believe Guitar Center offered some AL HH's with that feature.

Yes to both. GC had a run of HHALs with this mod but it's also something that can be done afterwords. You can always call or email Customer service to find out for sure.

Look like the fender amp knobs I've put on a few guitars...cool vintage look.
If it came with chrome knurled barrel knobs, most likely the GC special.
That was my first AL as well. Personally, I wouldn't want an HH without the split option...ebmm did it right so that when split, the outer coils are active, tele-style.

Yes it had the knurled barrel knobs plus there is a GC business card in the case. Great guitar and the added split on the pickups is fantastic.
