NGD tomorrow Majesty

I only asked as I havent seen how the bridge on the majesty works, with my mates parker he has to put a plate in for differing string gauges. I wasnt sure.

Cheers

OMG I guess I better finish up my mechatronic degree before I swap the pups in this one unless I just stay dimarzio that might be simple enough lol. Looks sick man I was really close to getting this color but my polar noir is in fedex hands right now I cant stop hitting refresh on FedEx's tracking site lol.

Well is DOES have game changer tech in there... not surprised on the wiring..

I thought I read somewhere on the forum that using the digital GC system in the Majesty was slightly faster/quieter pickup switching. I'm not sure my ears or fingers are sensitive enough to distinguish that. If you can't plug it in to do usual GC configs, then I guess there's that or some other real reason besides raining on your rewiring parade.

I think I want 9's on mine.

I go play my 13 and I'm like "MAN IM A BOSS I CAN BEND 9 OCTAVES" and then I go to the 10 gauge on my Majesty and realize that I am a loser with puny, weak fingers xD!

congrats! the majesty looks great!
hopefuly there will never be an issue wih the lectronic on this guitars, otherewise you'll have to bring it to a local computer store and not to your local guitar deal.

Why the change in string guage?

How easy is it to switch them?

As John changes his choice in string gauge we change the gauge on the guitars we ship.

Changing from 10s to 9s will be fairly easy, you'll need to adjust the tension of the springs (running 2 springs with 9s is recommended), loosen the truss rod and intonate.

Going from 9s to 10s will require the opposite and may require widening of the nut slots (especially for the wound strings).
