Nice score and collection. I would go crazy trying to decide which one to play. Do you have a "must play" axe, do the "einy, meany, miney, mo", put on a blind fold and pick one??? Again, congrats on the purchases.

Hi all!

Sorry I went MIA for a few days. Had to take an unexpected trip to Budapest. But I am back now, so let's reveal some more Axis Tributes!

Next up is the Natural:

More to come!

Oooo! So pretty! Very cool Jeff! I love your photo skills, that natural is very classy and earthy, love it!

Would you take a fan request and do the gold top next? If its ok, of course. :D

WOW Jeff, to say you have a passion for these instruments would be a colossal understatement. Congrats to you! Definitely living vicariously through you as others have said. If I only could afford ONE of these instruments - heck a used standard Axis would be enough :). Peace.

Next up: Axis Tribute trans blue!

blue_0001.jpg

The blue is interesting for two reasons:

A) It's hard to see in the photo, but there's really cool color variations where the "edges" of the quilt figures have a grayish thing going on.

B) My original blue EVH is definitely the more aqua variety (and I purchased it new back in '94 and it is not faded), whereas the tribute is more blue blue.

OK, so we still have Red, Purple, Pink, Goldtop, and Opaque Black left.... which one to do next? Methinks the Goldtop for a change from the quilts...
