Out for delivery.

I have at least one EBMM representing each major "family" in the line except for this relatively newer one. This is one of the finishes that will be discontinued October 31.

Any guesses before the pics get posted?

Al?

The OUT FOR DELIVERY is the best part..... Every school bus, truck, Diesel engine I hear I run to the window to see if it is the UPS/FedEx truck!

Jason got it within 3 minutes!

Spike, despite the heat and the fact that the AC is running, I have the window open and the sound of every passing truck does draws me to it! Based on the regular UPS schedule it should be another 6 hours or so, but hoping for sooner.

OK, here it is.

Black Cherry Burst Quilt. This is one of the finishes to be discontinued. I cannot fathom why this finish was not a better seller, but I love it and I am thankful to have had the opportunity to grab one before they are gone.

I've had a chance to play it. The tone is amazing! Very resonant when strummed unplugged. The pickups are very dynamic and clean up in a nice chimey way when I back off on my attack. The neck is very large, larger than any other EBMM I've played, but I totally dig it! The shorter scale length seems to offset the neck's girth and overall, it is a pleasure to play. I have not weighed it, but it does not feel particularly big or heavy. This one will definitely see a lot of use.

agt, can you describe the neck on your Armada(compared to Axis,25th, or Silo sp.). I'm looking at buying one and am very curious. Thanks,
Kevin
