Alright, alright.

I'm going to bid 701 and if it hits reserve and one of you boneheads outbids me, it's war.

I hate you all.

If it's priced like the rest I've been seeing on California ads, $750-800 is probably what she's after.

What's up with those California guys? It's like the wineries here in Temecula. At the winery the price is way higher than a mile up the street at a store. Just kidding, It looks like a very nice Bass and if it was mine I'd want top dollar for it as well.

If it were a lefty, I'd be selling blood right now... mine's, the wife's, the dog's, whoever's.

My alma mater (Northwestern State Unive of La) main colors were purple and orange. Fav 80's artist is Prince, LSU is here, Mardi Gras... dammit I need purple!

Actually, I have a lefty C**vin that's bird's eye purple, complimented with an absolutely gorgeous trans-orange Sterling. The finish on my Sterling blows the C**vin out the water (the C**vin came from the factory almost black in color-- not good when you drop $300 extra just for the bird's eye).

Oh but if that thing were a lefty ;)

Wow, I could consider that purple trans but then again I would love a sparkle finish.

Hi guys! I am guilty as charged. I didn't have money to even think about a MM bass for awhile so I stayed clear of the forum so I wouldn't feel tempted to spend. Now my funds are up and I am waiting for a cool sparkle Sterling or something special like this trans purple. Who knows, I might go for it. As for now I am still playing my 80's Ibanez Roadstar which actually sounds good considering there is a slight twist in the neck.

I'm a MM wonnabe.;)

Y'know i'd KILL for a trans purple SR5. :p

I recently purchased a black sparkle SR4 but sent it back because of some issues I had with it. Now I have a ltd. ed. envy green SR4. :D

That Ibanez isn't worth $15 at this point. It was made in '83 and has more dents then you care to count. I would buy a new Sterling but they aren't putting out any sparkle finish Sterlings right now. I will save my gold and lie in wait on Ebay.

I bid $778 on that trans purple and never met reserve.

Yeah, I figured her rock-bottom would be between $750-800.

Let's see if she revises it for a more reasonable amount...I mean, it is used.

Its not compltely unreasonable. I think ifit was a more normal color itd definitely be doing fine. Sterlings sell for over 800 all the time.
