Lisa,

you probably find black boring but PM
me if you're interesed in a black/maple
Sterling. It's 10 years old ('96) and in
pristine condition (has the nice birdseye
fretboard & 'muteable' bridge too)

Hi Moondog

A birdseye fretboard sounds gorgeous but I am in love with the rosewood sound. Got to have that warm soothing sound.

Hi guys! I am guilty as charged. I didn't have money to even think about a MM bass for awhile so I stayed clear of the forum so I wouldn't feel tempted to spend. Now my funds are up and I am waiting for a cool sparkle Sterling or something special like this trans purple. Who knows, I might go for it. As for now I am still playing my 80's Ibanez Roadstar which actually sounds good considering there is a slight twist in the neck.

I'm a MM wonnabe.;)

Okay, now please take this with a big grain of salt, but I think the value of MIJ 80's Ibenhad's is going to go up big time in the next few years. (Puts on Asbestos Suit) I'm already seeing some "collector" type activity on these. You may just want to hold onto that Roadstar, especially if it is only worth $15 right now (but get yourself an EB, too, of course ;) )
