Saturday Night May 15th at Midnight PDT I will be performing on the World Wide Web! You can tune in. The Local Access station here in Tucson has a television show called "Harrigan's After Hours" which airs live on Saturdays at midnight. NORMally I am the sound guy for the show. I get to mix live audio for television. Occasionally I play the show. The latter is the case for Saturday night May 15th. (Sunday morning)

If you go to
http://www.accesstucson.net/whatsontv/watchonline/
Then click on "Watch" next to the number 72

To watch the show you will need a player that can support RealMedia 9 or better video streams, such as
RealPlayer

I will be playing songs from my CD, "Unclassified" as well as other tasty bits including the overly talked about shredfest pieces. Of course I will be playing EBMM guitars exclusively. Most likely the BD silo and my purple silo bass. I am open to suggestions.

I really hope that as many of you as possible can watch. I know it is on really late. But Hey, What a great way to start Sunday May 16th!

Harrigan's After Hours is a live one hour music format show that has been running for over 15 years. It is currently one of the longest running cable access shows in the country. As far as I know, currently, only SNL has been broadcasting live weekly music performances longer. People / bands get to play here and get a 3 camera shoot of their performance on VHS for free. Live DVD recording capability is being added this summer.

FYI Tucson Arizona is technically in the Mountain time zone. However we don't do the daylight savings time thing here in this state. So in the summer, like now, we are on the same time as California. I didn't know this until I moved here.

Dude, that's like 3 a.m. here on the east coast.

Will it be archived?

I don't know if it will be archived or not. Also, I was wondering if it is possible for viewers to record it in that format. Does anyone know how to do that?

Finally, the show has been rescheduled to May 15th.

I think Streambox might be able to, I know it can do archived concerts most of the time, but I've never tried catching something live with it. I'll try and give that a go tomorrow :)

Well, speaking as someone who has listened to UNCLASSIFIED, I hope NORM has time to play tracks 6 and 8. They are my favorites. Track 8 is Moonlight sonata written by some hack named bay tovan or something.

BEE YOU TEE FUL piece and mighty fine guitar tone.

I just wanted to bump this up and remind everyone that I will be performing this Saturday night. Well Sunday Morning anyway. I hope you can tune in / log on.

Just to keep your appetites wet, here is a picture of me tearing it up at a private party thrown by a local Harley dealer. It was a bike ride / Kegger / crawfish boil. There were about 200 people there and it was way cool. If only I had any sense of style. I did have to dig pretty far into the hamper for the shirt though.

Because of the size of the file I am having trouble sending it to generic accounts such as yahoo, hotmail etc. They just get lost in cyberspace. I will explore setting up a websight tonight with it. I will try to send it to your yahoo account but no promises. Try to find a way to record the preformance this Saturday night.

You know, Norm, I would absolutely love to see you play - really, no questions asked, I'd be there if I could, but I"m an EST denizen with two kids, a convalescent wife and a full-time job, and staying up past midnight on a work night just is NOT going to happen... I wish they'd archive the recording some place where us suburbanites could check it out during the evil daylight hours... :(

I love comunity access tv

I spent 10 years as a teen-ager helping out.

I did everything from run errands to produce.

Me and my buddy started a video show in 1983. We were Wayne's World before Wayne's World - No kidding.

After that I got into audio engineering (10 month course)

I missed it Sat night but I'll catch it tonight
