I had the pleasure of metting him at NAMM and getting passes to the Extreme Reunion Concert they held on Friday night.

Nuno is one of the coolest guys around, very approachable and doesn't seem to be into the whole rock star trip, at least he didn't come across that way to me. As for an EBMM Nuno model, he has like 4 or 5 variations of his current model out and they seem to sell very well so.....

The concert was awesome and they are as tight as ever.

Oh yeah love Nuno! Dont care much for his solos, but his awesome rhythm work on extreme's cd's is just the best. Cupid's Dead is great. Extreme have reunited so you never know!

I hear ya Rob, watching him play rhythm live is an incredible experience, there's one part of Decadence Dance that I have always loved, to see it live was great.

Decadence Dance is not the easiest tune to play either! Lots of fiery rhythm stuff goin on, great stuff. Pornograffiti is another not easy tune. I do like Nuno's solos but there's only so much tapping and sweeped arpeggios i can take, but hey it was the 80's ( and early 90's!) i guess. Never get sick of the song though.

Nuno is a great player and a fabulous person. He is very happy where he is and I would never mess with that. You know I have many friends that are greeat players that dont play my guiitars and I would never ever make it an issue. Vai is the best example. A great friend, and even better person.

and then that whole issue of me and my fellow lefties begging for a left handed Vai Musicman. Too much hassle. ;) :D

Hey Rob ,
Just have to laugh when I saw your comment about it being from the eighties as I guess I must be stuck there ( Musically). It just seems like this generations music (for the Most part) is rehashing old tunes.:D:):)

That's what Nuno said during the concert they held at NAMM, they have been working on an album for three months or so and they even played one of the tracks during the show. It was great although the name of it escapes me right now

III Sides to Every Story is my favorite from them. It will be interesting to see what they sound like in 2008...Nuno rocks!

I was at the NAMM gig in the Hilton ballroom.

Always been a huge Nuno fan and I have to say he played his ass off.

They were tight and rocking - was like being 18 again!

Dave

P.S. For anyone who has only heard Extreme go out and get hold of Nuno's solo album Schizophonic - it will rock your world.

Hey Smelly !
thanks for telling me that as you just saved me buying a N4.
I was hoping it would make me play like Nuno Too !!!
Oh well we can always dream can't we ??
On the flip side it won't stop me from buying my next guitar a JP 6
worst case scenario I can hang it on the wall like a fine piece of art !
