I don't think he realizes that The Montgomery Inn is in Cincinnati. I agree - it's not real BBQ.
AS for BP, I wonder if he favors traditional Southern style BBQ, or the West Coast Santa Maria style?

I love almost all BBQ... but Santa Maria style is the best. Can't help it, if you grew up there you would crave a good Tri-tip as well! Good thing I have pretty much perfected my recipe and am now working on the beans to go with!

Oh this should be fun since I am not ashamed to say I am semi addicted to most of the cooking shows from Top Chef, Iron Chef to even Man vs Food and that weird bald headed guy that eats the most disgusting things on the planet.lol Will be looking forward to seeing BP and team in action. Was there a way to squeeze in a promo for the guitars and basses (via shirts or an actual guitar/bass on a stand in the background) during the cooking segments? Especially since that show is so visible, plus food and music go really well together.

Man, I misunderstood. I forgot that it was Sept. 2 instead of the second episode. I was all hyped up to see Big Poppa Smokers on my DVR! Oops, I got it wrong. I got the second episode just fine. No, BP Smokers.
