Oh god...Tiffles it isnt too late...You will have a fat bald guy then a skinny guy with heavy dental work the a geezer with a wheelbarrow and then a mysterious man with no eyebrows. If that doesnt work there is always our pack of three legged dogs.

My daughter is only 8 and an only child. I had a hard time with the kindergarten bus a few years ago. . Don't know how I'll make through the college one.

Although she did recently have a conversation with my wife since some of my nieces are in college and wondered "....why would someone go away to college, don't they like their family..." kinda made me laugh and choked me up at the same time.

I agree with Tom though, the wedding one is going to kill me. After my father passed, I walked my youngest sister down the aisle and almost didn't make that. An only daughter............I got no chance.

To be really honest though the college and weddings are the good things in life.

It just doesn't feel like it the day you see your little girl on her way.

Being called grandpa doesn't hurt either. :)

...on Vicoden.

Man I am not looking forward to starting all this dental reconstruction next month but it's long overdue and I found one of those new fangled "sedation" dentists so I basily will be out during the months of procedures that lie ahead.

Hey all --- a late reaction to this thread...

BP - GREAT TOPIC. I'm one of the older types -- my kids are 16 and 14 and I can see it coming. My bro just went through it and he's telling me to make time for the kids NOW... and he's right.

My son's a drummer -- so I'll be missing a good drummer too -- double whammy.
He's too tall like me, but not a hoops player. When he gets the inevitable question he says "no, I play drums".

Chuck you don't have to take your daughter to college if you are under house arrest for a single H incoming. :D

Maybe she needs a year off any way?

I really dig the way Bongos look in Lefty BP....I might get one and string it up backwards for giggles.

They kind of remind me of those retro 60's Yamaha's.
