Dude, they're not cheap amps. I think they're well made and the quality is great for the price.. and just great in general. I've always been a fan of Carvin's products.. guitars AND amps. If I weren't playing EBMM guitars I'd be playing Carvin.

I put my Legacy through complete hell when I had it, and it never once gave me trouble. It had been dropped several times, and survived all the clubs and taverns that I played at over the years. I owned it for several years until Hurricane Katrina destroyed it.

I don't understand where you got the idea that they are cheap? Did somebody tell you that? I don't like my Mark IV, and I'm selling it to get an amp that's not as expensive and sounds great. I'm looking into getting either another Legacy or the V3. I trust Carvin.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Carvin V3. I'd eventually like to try one out sometime.

you say they arent cheap but then they are not expensive. cheap means not expensive, not poor quality (to me at least). the carvins are cool but they are like $1000 cheaper than the mark iv. sorry to get you irritated but i was just recommending that you own both amps at the same time for a little to ensure the right choice. whatever you do, enjoy

I've heard nothing but good about the V3, we have a fairly new Carvin store here in town and I've been dying to get in there and check out some amps.

Price doesn't always ensure quality. Gibson and Fender are great examples of this.

Not saying that Mesa doesn't make quality stuff, but I'm saying that you don't gotta have a 3000 dollar price tag to have a quality product.

I've owned both amps, and I like Carvin's sound much more. I am definitely going to check out the X3.
