Yah, Tommy was a really stand up guy about getting me the pictures under the pick guard.The seller is a shop that's got it on consignment. I spoke with them after you did and out of curiosity, he was kind enough to pull the pick guard again and send me gut shots. Very nice fellow. We discussed the details and I tried to negotiate the price, but the owner doesn't want to budge. So it's still available as far as I know.
EBMM CS confirmed it was built for the artist relations department, but no idea who the artist was.
Mrs. Bebop loves a good mystery and went searching the web. The closest thing we found was pics of Annie Clark (St. V) with one of her AL's that looked very similar, but her's has a trem and full rosewood neck, with a painted headstock! Those pics did explain the wear on top of the headstock though... she's got a capo clamped in the same spot. So whoever played this one must have used a capo a lot...
