Last night I did my longest set to date (I am still relatively new to bass playing). Here's the setlist:

1. Take the Money and Run. (Steve Miller)
2. Comfortably Numb (Pink Floyd. I did some vocals here...Roger Waters Parts)
3. No Rain (Blind Melon)
4. Takin Care of Business (BTO)

Then with a Chick Lead Singer we did:
5. This Love (Maroon 5)
6. Leave me Alone I'm Lonely (P!nk)
7. Waiting on the World to Change (John Mayer)
8. Hot (Avril Lavigne)
9. Heartbreaker (Pat Benatar)
10. Dead or Alive (Bon Jovi)
11. Livin on a Prayer (Bon Jovi)
12. Sweet Child o Mine (GnR)
13. Roxanne (Police)
14. Shook me All Night Long (ACDC)

Pictures to follow...

Well, don't have much new photos, so I'll add a few already posted on another thread, but seems to me it belongs here.

A few shots from small private wedding party where we played:

Great gig and great pics! Is that a white Bongo? (DROOL)

That's my original white with white pearloid pickguard Bongo 5 HH that I sold some time ago. It was gorgeous! I've since replaced it with my two newer Bongo 5's described in my signature.

White always photographs well and shows up great on stage.

+1... When I got my Candy Red Bongo I put a black pickguard on it. Very understated and classic-looking, but the moment I saw pics from that gig I realized that the bass is essentially invisible.

So I swapped the black out for cream pearl and now that signature EBMM teardrop shape pops right out in any lighting.

I know a lot of people really like black-on-black instruments, but to me the visual aspect of performance is important. Why play something that nobody can see?

Preach on, brotha.

I purposely chose a fuzzy pic to assist my point. :D

This is an actual action shot: Playing along with my tropical music band with just my left hand while posing for the picture with the (transitorily) spare tenor sax player. Taken last Monday.

Tropical Monday gig, wooow, that's the deal!

You are professionals for sure, I almost can hear some samba rhythm from the background! :D

Ahhh... somebody playing out a 20th SR5 HH! Very nice! What sort of music do you do?

We play a little of everything, depending on the venue, but mostly classic rock/rock. Every now-and-then we'll get one really drunk redneck-type guy that's screaming for SKYNRD, so we'll play something like King Floyd - Groove Me, or some other kickin' dance tune to egg him on... then we'll blast him with something he wants to hear... audience gratification is key you know... :D

Oh yeah, I almost forgot the praise... THOR sounds just as good as he looks!
