Kevin pondering weather to go with a soft 8-iron, or mustarding up on a slightly closed face 9!! Life's full of brutal decisions.

Thanks Kevin. Count me out of this sign up then----I think I'll do the jeep tours.

GwDavis24, no time this week or next to practice, but that is a good idea.

Sorry Oddjob. W/ names like OddJob and Glockaxis on a golf course w/ no experience, we're bound to kill someone!! LOL

Ok I've been really on the fence on this one ... my game hasn't really gone well this year, but man I love playing ... count me in.

Just me, not bringing clubs, and my handicap ... hmm ... never really kept track but right now I'm probably a double bogie golfer (I'll shoot 107ish scoring properly), so that would put me at 35? (No snickering please. Look at it this way- one more oppt'y for Sterling to raz the Canucks.)

No problem, I can play, teaching has just really kept me away from the courses lately... thus the high unofficial hc. To me, I just love the game. I just want to go enjoy myself with some knuckheads (and hope I'm not dragging a hangover with me).

As far as killing someone, I heard a rumor that shouting "fore" absolves you from all guilt... but I could be wrong ;)

Oh, you don't want me closing the face on my 9... only bad things happen :D

Seriously, where was this taken at? (if you don't mind me asking)

Hey Kevin...That guy you were bragging to about your 7 wood in the office today is PGA rookie star Anthony Kim......

thats what I figured. Brian had told me about the round you guys played with him, and how well he struck the ball. Sounds like he has a bright career ahead. As you guys were walking away I was laughing to myself.....after I realized we just discussed my girly 7-wood with a PGA pro, he probably is a man and opts for the 3-iron! Thanks for the intro!

I know he doesnt carry a 7 wood..he did hit a 420 yd drive on tour and is ranked 8th over all in the aa around category not bad for a kid

:eek: that will shorten a course in a hurry! And I was impressed with Dargin's 340 yarder!

I'm going to go to sleep and will try and dream about long drives and short puts!!

Has a course ben selected?

What's the story with courses in the area? I would like to play Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. I take it there are enough courses out there that I could just show up and get on. Any suggestions of courses? Local knowledge/guidance would be appreciated.
