Here are some pics of my beloved Music Man's...
On the right my first one back from '99, on the left my second Luke (guess bought it 2 or 3 years later used) and in the middle my new used JP7 LE 2007 which I got 2 days ago (and i LOVE it )
Here my Luke at a little closer look (it was signed back in '99 by Luke after a concert..thanks to Bobby Kimball to help me finding Luke...and thanks Luke for signing it of course )
Next one my second (however the coloer is called) Luke (as you can see it has a HUUUUGE flaw around the jack...pre owner dropped it and "painted" it awfully....but well...built like a tank, the guitar still is in top shape in every other way and sounds fantastic!!) Well and I got it for very little money and my guitars are being used not stuffed in a rack or so, so that's fine with me
And finally my latest installment: The JP7 LE 2007. Got it 2 days ago and it really blows my mind...sustain forever...love the color...perfect addition to my little collection!
So that was my first post, hope you like my guitars...only wish I could show you my EVH in rare pink...beautiful guitar but needed money and had to sell it few years ago
Keep up making such fine instruments!! The JP surely wasn't my last EBMM
BTW: Is there the chance to get to know sth about our EBMM's through the serial numbers? I was told back then that I picked up the first of the Luke II's here in germany and stuff and it would be interesting if this might be true..and does anyone know the name of the color of my second Luke? (the violet one).
Nice first post, and a beautiful collection! I believe the color of your purple Luke is called pearl purple, which isn't available anymore, for quite some years (I bevieve EB discontinued that color in 2002). Maybe your Luke is one of the first Luke IIs iin Germany, but I doubt that, because I thought the Luke IIs were only offered in Luke Blue and black when they first came out.
If you need more info, you could ask for the Date of birth of your Balls in the Serial nr. thread. Dan is a cool cat, and will probably provide the info you'd like to know.
Thanks for your kind words and thanks fot the info about the color!
And maybe I didn't write understandable (no native speaker here ) I meant that my blue Luke is the first in germany (didn't have the choice of color back then, you're totally right! )
And thanks for the info concerning the serial numbers! Will check that thread out!
