Brand new EBMM JP6 Mystic Dream Fully loaded...

This is the original JP6 with the one I'm building myself.

10x man. The body was build from Korina wood. Working on the maple neck right now.

Just received my Luke this morning. Serial number G38071. I'm gonna guess it was made in March '09 sometime. Got it from Beaver at Bass Central. The trem plate is signed by Luke himself. How cool is that? Thanks.

Why did you go for the pickup rings? For the looks?

Yeah for the looks. I really don't like guitars without pickuprings. To me it looks like they sent the guitar out of the factory unfinished. I do like the thought behind it that is should sound better mounting the pickups directly to the body but adding the rings doesn't change anything to the tone so...
