Tristan - your Axis SS looks just amazing. I love that colour.

Dizzy - wow, that quilt is just incredible, it looks almost 3D.

blue lefty silhouette

Hi Haven't contributed much to the forum so far (even though I read and enjoy the posts every day) so I thought I'd start by showing a couple of pics of my lefty Silhouette. It's a 1998 pearl blue model that I got off Ebay about 5 Months ago. I considered myself lucky as I haven't seen another used lefty since. I changed the humbucker to an old seymour I already had and liked but it bugged me that it was black. I came up with the idea of putting black pup covers on the single coils to match it and now I think it look alright...What do you think?
My only Ball so far but I sure they'll be more to come (Axis ss and Luke hopefully)

Very nice Bud!

I'm so glad I'm not a lefty though, you guys have it tough when it comes to finding gear (especially used). Would like to see you add to that "budding" collection! Thank you, I'll be hear all week, try the veal!

Yes being a Lefty can be a real pain sometimes.... finding specific used guitars can be a nightmare and dealers usually want you to pay premium prices for the new stuff(here in the UK anyway!). Suppose it makes the guitars we own a bit more unique though.
Cheers dude...Bud

New SUB 1

Found this little jewel and bought it. Super nice action, sound and playability. Like the neck and board much better than the bare maple of the Silo I had. Since it has recently attained collectible status, I think I'll leave it stock. Looks great to me the way it is.

Kompressaur,

The color of the Morse was one of the main reasons i bought it... it really does appear dark in real life (the last pic most accurately shows its color), so much so that you can't read Steve's sig on the headstock unless you put a bright light on it. It is the darkest blueburst Morse I've ever seen and I wanted to get it before it went anywhere :). My friend, Rob, and I spent days trying to figure out exactly what color it was. At one point we thought it was a Pacific Blueburst but its not an option on the Morses so I think its just a very dark Morse blueburst. The guitar plays awesome! I found transitioning from the Morse to the JP and back isn't a problem at all. The guitars complement each other very well.
