jzeijen, LOVE the AL. Just beautiful. I have a similar AL but with MM90's and hard tail piezo. I want a pearloid pg for it though.

Hey guys and gals:

I'm new to the forum, and also new to the world of Ernie Ball Music Man guitars. I just got an INCREDIBLE DEAL on a 2001 EBMM Axis Super Sport HH, and I'm just so freakin' excited that I was able to finally purchase my dream guitar after eleven years of being a guitarist.

This guitar is ten years old -- looks like a closet classic that's never been played:

Am I correct in calling this Blue Pearl finish?

The sparkle in the headstock is amazing:

I got this beauty for the low, low price of $675. Still can't believe it, and I'm just happy that now I've got my own Super Sport to add to this awesome forum!

This is my Silo Special in limited edition Pearl Platinum

Must admit, I'm not entirely sure about the finish/pguard/fretboard combination (I'm more a vintage kinda guy when it comes to looks), but otherwise I love my Silhouette Special to death

You should post the serial number in the Serial Number sticky thread. I don't believe that that color was ever a limited edition color. I believe it was a short term color like a year or two.
