1986 EBMM Silo

A few pictures of my 1986 Silhouette that I just bought, which has a serial number of 86038. My first EBMM guitar, although I have owned a few MM amps in my time too. I picked it up from the classifieds on a whim and feel very fortunate - not only to finally own an EBMM, but such an early production serial number.

Obvs a new scratch plate and missing locking nut will be needed, but apart from that it's all original and sounds fantastic. And I love the way the finish has aged on the neck.

Definitely not my last - I've already got my heart set on an AL too. Would love to know how many Silos were made in 86 too - information seems hard to track down...

Custom BBC Ernie Ball Axis Sport

Check out this axis sport Ernie Ball donated to an event called boarding For Breast Cancer Snowboard + Music festival in Tahoe in 1999. I bought it at the silent auction at the event. Any feedback is appreciated. Wonder if the custom thing adds value?

Those are really great, underrated guitars. The graphics won't really add anything to the value of the guitar, however.
