1997 Silhouette Special with Wilkinson trem and Grover locking tuners as they had back then.this ones got a JB jnr in the bridge and is a great playing guitar.
2nd time I've owned it and hopefully this time for good

Me too...........except mine has the big humbucker, no handle and faces leftwards. Oh, the neck's a different colour too.
But it's definitely purple & pearloid.

The feel of it is great, I think. It just sounds muddy, no matter what, so I have to pretty much get rid of Bass on my Roadster for it to sound clear. I won't sell it, though, just 'cause it was my first guitar.

Maybe you should consider swapping the pickups out?
