I don't think I ever posted any photos of the Olive Gold Silo Special in this thread:

I'm really liking this one. I've been a serial purchaser of Silo Specials; this is my third - all with trems, rosewood boards and 3 single coils.

I got the first on in 2004 (Vintage burst, tortoise shell pickguard, natty headstock); sold it in 2005. Got #2 in 2007 (LE Blue Dawn); sold it last summer to fund something else and wasn't able to buy it back at the time it was available. Now this is #3; I'm going to wise up and keep this one.:D

Such a lovely colour and pickguard. It looks very unique :)

Thanks; it was one of the colors (and pickguards) that was introduced in the Summer of 2008 and discontinued in the Fall of 2009. It was a shame; there were some really unique colors that just didn't catch on.

Lukather-The guitar is very clean, The neck is oil/wax type, a quick buff with a clean cloth and its nice and slick

Heeboja- Yes the guitar gets played a few times a week nowadays, When I got it it was told to me that it was played less then a dozen times, He changed out the original set of strings b4 he sent it to me. I am the second owner. The original owner bought it and never played it. When I got it I didn't play it much because it was so nice. I then started playing it more because it plays so sweet and I figured Steve would be pissed if it just sat in the case! Guitars are meant to be played!!! I just don't play it very hard.

Hello all. This is my first post although I signed up a long time ago when I bought my SUB bass for recording.

Anyway, here is my new AXIS SS. It is a poor quality picture, but it is better than nothing! :D

You'll be hearing from me soon..... Rock on!

I've never liked those scratchplates - but I have to say that yours is the first guitar I have seen where the 'plate works (very) well!!

I picked up a JP model in mystic dream last weekend. I've always preferred the Luke models but this one felt really good :)

I guess not everyone is like me. My guitars look like they have been played :D Well I guess I need to be more careful when I get my first ball. Can't bother with these 300€ ~ guitars :D

Spud - thanks; I think that Olive Gold was the only color that the gold swirl pickguard would work with; I think bringing them in together and taking them out together was the right call by EBMM.

At least with the orange swirl guard it would have worked with both trans orange and the discontinued metallic orange, and the blue ice swirl would have worked with several colors as well.
