I don't think I ever posted any photos of the Olive Gold Silo Special in this thread:

I'm really liking this one. I've been a serial purchaser of Silo Specials; this is my third - all with trems, rosewood boards and 3 single coils.
I got the first on in 2004 (Vintage burst, tortoise shell pickguard, natty headstock); sold it in 2005. Got #2 in 2007 (LE Blue Dawn); sold it last summer to fund something else and wasn't able to buy it back at the time it was available. Now this is #3; I'm going to wise up and keep this one.![]()
I guess not everyone is like me. My guitars look like they have been playedLukather-The guitar is very clean, The neck is oil/wax type, a quick buff with a clean cloth and its nice and slick
Heeboja- Yes the guitar gets played a few times a week nowadays, When I got it it was told to me that it was played less then a dozen times, He changed out the original set of strings b4 he sent it to me. I am the second owner. The original owner bought it and never played it. When I got it I didn't play it much because it was so nice. I then started playing it more because it plays so sweet and I figured Steve would be pissed if it just sat in the case! Guitars are meant to be played!!! I just don't play it very hard.
I've never liked those scratchplates - but I have to say that yours is the first guitar I have seen where the 'plate works (very) well!!
