Hello fellow formites - I hope you are all doing well.

I dropped off Oinky at Noll Guitars in Cranston, Rhode Island today. I'm having a killswitch installed like Eddie has on his model that he's been seen playing out with.

I ordered a Sanwa arcade button:

$125 total...should be ready in about a week!

Very cool! You're a brave man modding that pink beauty like that. Don't think I could bring myself to let someone take a piece out of that top...

Thanks, man!

I almost backed out at the last minute before I left today! But, they are a reputable luthier shop, and I am keeping her so resale value matters not!

Yikes! I don't think I'd be able to put a hole in a guitar. Didn't Eddie copy Buckethead with the arcade button?

 I would not have the gut to start such mod on a 2000 bucks guitar

For such kill switch I would go for a footswitch cause then it will work for all your guitars, but if this mod is ok for you then go for it :)

You got guts man, thats all I can say haha. I wouldn't do it but you know what, its your guitar and you do what you want to it, even if its a '59 burst you never plan to sell. If it were me though I'd put a small button on there, like the little red one Ed has.
