Nice! Almost got rid of my Sterling HH in a moment of stupidity. I'm believe the dual pickup (especially the HH) sterlings are the most underrated basses in the product line, there are very few videos of them to be found!
Solo bridge H is great for nasty punk grind but otherwise I dont really hit it up too often. I find the neck H gives me that tamed down aggression that still sounds like clean bass. Gotta cut the mids & boost the bass a bit with that bridge H too.
That's probably what I need to do (or set the mids flat) when I solo the rear H. Typically Im a mids booster, (usually halfway between flat and max) on both my sterling and my stingray. The sterling H being in series probably naturally has the level of mids that I have to boost into my stingray.
